It's made in France and designed by Constance Guisset in 2024, who said, "The purely functional is transformed into something beautiful, where only that which is essential remains: a light and delicate veil floating between two worlds." Intricate steel bracing supports hand-laid polyurethane ribbons that radiate from its central handblown glass sphere, housing energy-efficient LED lamping and casting a mesmerizing mix of shadows and light. A single slender cord keeps things in place; its gossamer-thin fiberglass form dances responsively to the slightest breath of air, creating an ethereal interplay of light and movement.
