"We installed the 48-inch black and walnut version in our family room, and the flush design works much better with our lower ceiling than the old fan did. The wood blades have a warmer and more natural look in person, especially when the afternoon sun comes through the blinds. It moves plenty of air without being distracting, and the remote is convenient when we’re sitting on the sectional. Installation took longer than expected because we had to adjust the ceiling box, but the fan has stayed steady and quiet since then. The light is fairly bright on the coolest setting, so we usually keep it on the warmer color at night. Even our dog has started sleeping directly underneath it."

"We wanted something narrow enough for the space beside our bed but with more storage than a typical nightstand. This chest fits perfectly, and the four drawers hold everything from chargers to extra linens. The burl pattern is much more detailed in person and changes noticeably depending on the morning light. My favorite feature is the leather pull-out surface—I use it for a book or a cup of coffee without crowding the lamp and phone on top. The hardware and drawers feel substantial, although the entire piece is heavier than its size suggests. The finish is also a little warmer and darker than I expected, but it works well with the original floors in our older house."

"We placed this on the end table beside our sofa, where the corner always felt dark after sunset. The linen shade gives off a really soft, warm light, and the black edging makes the unusual shape stand out without looking overly decorative. The walnut base feels solid and heavier than I expected, which is helpful because the shade is fairly wide. Putting the shade together took a little patience, and the folds did not look perfectly even at first, but they settled into shape after a day or two. It is better for atmosphere and evening reading than for lighting the entire room."

"We installed this over the dining table, and the smoky glass looks even better in person than it did online. During the day the petals have a soft gray-taupe color, but once the lights are on they turn into this warm honey shade and cast beautiful patterns across the ceiling. Each glass piece has slightly different swirls, so it does not look overly uniform or mass-produced. This is a very heavy fixture, and attaching all of the individual petals took longer than expected, so professional installation was absolutely the right decision. We use it with a dimmer because full brightness is more than we need for dinner."

"This cabinet fits beautifully on our upstairs landing and gives us a useful place to store extra linens and candles. The painted detailing has a layered, aged appearance that looks much richer in person, especially against our older wood floors. Both doors close evenly, and the curved legs keep the piece from feeling too heavy. The finish is slightly darker in areas that receive less daylight, but I actually like the variation.
