Purchase three of these pendants for a new home build. Our design style is modern/transitional. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition. They were packed securely and seem very sturdy. It's what I needed for a certain location in the house BUT.....WAY OVERPRICED.

It's the perfect finishing touch for our bedroom. Reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that there was a tiny cut on the shade.

I love this paper lantern. It's the perfect size and shape. I like that the bottom has a slightly larger opening than most, which allows for more light to come out instead of being diffused as paper lanterns do.
It's well-made and comes with a sturdy wire frame. I suggest reading the instructions to avoid puncturing the paper while assembling.

Exactly what I was looking for. These are very hard to find. They are a bit fragile, and there was some slight damage to the paper shade.

I was expecting the typical wire (hanger material) frame you get with most *cheap* paper lanterns, even though this wasn't cheap (in paper-lantern terms). The frame is a thick, coated wire and is sturdy. I love the shape of this and that the bottom is very wide open, it will cast a nicer light for where I want it than the traditional lantern it's replacing. That lantern has lasted more than 15 years; this paper is thick and substantial, I'm not worried about longevity with this at all, I'll have it for the rest of my life or until I get rid of it. The paper being thicker will also make it easier to dust.

Transformed a bookcase nook into a computer workspace but needed a little light. Not wanting to put holes in the ceiling (it's a rental) I used two tension rods to hang the light and drape the cord out of the way. I'll hide the cord with artwork. Put it all together in about 20 minutes. Very happy with this!

Easy to put together. Its very lightweight. I cant screw anything into my ceiling so I can hold this up with a Command Strip.
