Like the medieval turrets, this piece impresses at first sight with a clear display of craftsmanship. Master metalworkers create the striking shade with a series of solid rectangular metal panels. The spaces in between each panel subtly suggest the indentations of the towering turrets. A metal ring wraps in front for an added sense of depth. The bulbs are safeguarded behind the metal and an acrylic diffuser. The bulbs inspire as they produce a soft, filtered glow and solidify the shade’s bold silhouette.
