It's a piece by husband-and-wife design duo Karen Gilbert and Paul Pavlak, a practicing craft artist and architect, respectively. They show the beautiful permutations of glass, metal, and light through handcrafted work. It emphasizes the holding motif of its name with its hooking metal suspension. Mimicking gravities weight on a feather-light bag, a blown glass shade hooks on the suspension in a seductive form underlined by its gentle curves. Made in the Czech Republic, the blown glass vessel holds a single bulb and provides pleasant Light diffusion.
