It is a simple suspension structure made in the USA and inspired by the glass Japanese fishing floats that bob with the tides; it supports a borosilicate glass tube shade with a brass hook and leather-banded rope. The LED within can be oriented precisely where and how it is needed, whether a spotlight on talent is required for focused task use or an offset wall wash accented by an even ambiance is preferred, all achieved with a tactile, nautical touch.
