Cirque Pendant

The Cirque Pendant from Chelsea House plays with pattern and perception through its perforated hemisphere design. Bradshaw Orrell created this vibrant piece with rhythmic circular cutouts that project fascinating light patterns when illuminated. Hand-applied gold leaf enriches the iron framework, catching and reflecting light even when the fixture is unlit. Multiple hanging rods allow for customized height adjustment to suit various spaces. The pendant's graceful bowl shape directs light downward while also allowing it to escape through the perforations. Orrell's design works exceptionally as a standalone statement or multiplied in sequence, creating a continuous lighting experience.
