The substantial surface space fits the room without feeling bulky. It helped make the dining room look more complete and intentional. It is comfortable to sit around for meals, which matters more than I expected. The size is comfortable for daily use without being too large. I like that everyone has enough room without the table taking over the room. Nothing about it feels fussy, which is exactly what I wanted. The table is heavier than I expected, so moving it took two people. No regrets at all.
