Description
With a keen eye for upholstery design and an extraordinary talent for layering textiles and creating frame and fabric correlations, Barclay Butera developed a remarkable assortment of custom upholstery for the Newport and Brentwood collections. The frame designs work with the styling of either collection. Barclay also has a keen eye for exceptional tailoring. These silhouettes showcase the bench-made talents of highly-experienced artisans in North Carolina. Special combinations, selected by Barclay, are noted with a suffix AA, BB, CC or DD. Upholstered seating pulls the look of a room together while offering an elegant canvas for personal self-expression.

Our tailored track arm profile looks good with a throw and a few pillows. The size is useful for quiet evenings, guests, and everyday lounging. The relaxed style is subtle but noticeable in the best way.

The TV area changed more than I expected. The sofa works well for everyday lounging and still feels nice when guests are over. For us, the relaxed style made it easier to match the rest of the room. It also makes the room easier to use when people come over.

The reading friendly upholstery has become the spot people choose first. The frame feels steady and the cushions sit evenly. The room feels more pulled together now.

B
Blake Ross

The generous fabric texture gives the seating area a clear center. It gives us comfort without making the room feel crowded. I especially like how the sofa proportions keeps the seating from looking plain.
