In a narrow hallway, it looks intentional without being too formal. The top surface is practical for a tray, keys, decor, or a small bowl. The finish has enough texture to keep the wall from looking flat. The finish looks better in person than it did on my screen. I would choose it again for another entryway.

The handsome chest shape makes the front door area easier to manage. The relaxed style works nicely without making the space feel too casual. It made a noticeable difference in the space.
