Gilbert’s deep influence from the arts and Pavlak’s architectural mindset show clearly in the elegant, refined Balance 1.0 Pendant from SkLO. In every one of their creations, Gilbert and Pavlak seek to show the hand of the artisan. Showing this point is its double-dipped, handblown, and fire-kissed glass globes. The globes are hand-worked by master artisans in the Czech Republic, a country that’s held its place at the top of fine glassmaking for centuries.
